Spanish Chef Salvador Benedicto to Grace Bathers With Summer Delights
Beyond the stunning view, Bathers Beachfront now offers something more this summer. This year, they’re bringing Spanish Chef Salvador Benedicto to serve a Mediterranean-inspired ala carte menu, perfectly curated for every beachgoer.
Originating from Barcelona, Chef Benedicto has years of experience under his sleeves, and he’s set to bring it to the shores of Lantau Lower Cheung Sha Beach. Combining the goodness of land and sea, customers can look forward to tasting different menu items. For starters, some of the must-try items include the Bruschetta al Pomodoro (HK$95), toasted sourdough bread with extra virgin olive oil dressing, tomato, oregano, and basil on top; and the Burrata Salad (HK$145), served with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and pesto dressing.
For those who prefer to have seafood by the beach, Bathers and Chef Benedicto have prepared the Scallop Gratin (HK$140 for four pieces), fresh scallops perfectly baked with shallot, butter, white wine, and breadcrumb; and Adobo-Fried boneless whole Sea Bass (HK$165), which is a crispy-fried boneless whole sea bass with Andalucian marination.
Continue the palette celebration with Roast Spring Chicken (HK$210), a whole yellow chicken marinated with oregano, thyme, and lemon; and Roasted Suckling Pig in Spanish-style (HK$395 for a quarter and HK$750 for half).
A meal is not complete without having something sweet after a burst of flavours in your mouth. Have a taste of their Mango and Coconut Trifle (HK$88), finished with mango mousse, coconut cream, ladyfingers, and lime zest on top; and Bathers Sundae (HK$98), which consists of cookies and cream ice cream, Nutella sauce, and giant cookie garnish for the perfect taste.
Everyone can enjoy the summer fare at Bathers, as the restaurant also offers a dedicated kids menu priced at HK$140, which already includes a drink, a house-made artisan ice cream, fries, and a choice of main, which they can choose from: Mini Wagyu Cheeseburger, Tomato & Cheese Fettuccine, Fish ‘n’ Chips, Chicken Parmigiana, or Eggplant Fritters.
Open Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 10 PM and on public holidays, which follow the weekend timeslot.
