ICYMI: Kyoto-Born Coffee Brand % Arabica Opens Two New Stores in KL
Calling all coffee enthusiasts! In case you didn’t know, % Arabica, the beloved coffee brand from Kyoto, Japan, has opened not just one - but two new stores in Kuala Lumpur!
Both unveiled late last month, the two new % Arabica stores are located at shopping destinations Pavilion Damansara Heights and The Exchange TRX. This brings % Arabica’s Malaysian locations to a total of three, adding to its inaugural branch at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
Nestled at the underground entrance of The Exchange TRX, the brand’s second store is designed with a “cylindrical laboratory” concept, which was developed by Japanese design studio no.10. The design exudes a futuristic vibe with its 360° view counter equipped with curved glass, giving the impression of a “laboratory” where % Arabica’s coffees are being brewed.
Meanwhile, the Pavilion Damansara Heights branch takes inspiration from Malaysia’s popular tourist hotspot, the Batu Caves. Designed by Paris-based creative studio Archiee, the store blends indoor comfort and outdoor vibes with a grotto-inspired ambiance, as well as lime-finished ceilings and walls that bring attention to the cafe’s innovative counter.
With the new store openings, more locals and tourists can now get a taste of % Arabica’s freshly brewed coffee blends and other refreshing beverages, along with scrumptious pastries and desserts.
Tap your friends and visit % Arabica’s new stores now! To learn more about them, visit % Arabica Malaysia’s Instagram page.
Location: % Arabica, C.73.A, Concourse Floor, The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur / Lot 42 & 43, Level 2, Pavilion Damansara Heights, Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur
